The Makery Donates Birthday Cakes - To help celebrate each of our meal recipients’ birthdays, drivers will now carry a piece of cake provided by the Makery Cake Company in Centennial (see www.themakery.com) along with a birthday card. Marilyn Ness Named Littleton's "Citizen of the Year" - Marilyn Ness, the volunteer with the longest record of service through TLC Meals on Wheels received Littleton’s “Citizen of the Year” Award from Elks Lodge #1650 in a ceremony on March 20th.

- Mayor Cathy Noon of Centennial (right) was one of three local mayors who delivered meals. Mayors Doug Clark (Littleton) and Jim Woodward (Englewood) also took part.
Whole Foods Market at The Streets of SouthGlenn Channels Grab and Give Food through TLC Meals on Wheels - For the last few holiday seasons, Whole Foods Market has given shoppers an opportunity to feed the hungry in their communities. The Whole Foods Market at The Streets of SouthGlenn selected TLC Meals on Wheels
to distribute all natural, non-perishable items to needy individuals in Denver’s South Metro neighborhoods. Click here

TLC Meals on Wheels received excellent publicity in early October when CBS4 Denver sent a reporter/photographer
to ride along with one of our drivers. The story was about the effects of gas prices on non-profit organizations,
