Theater Night - Tuesday, April 17, 2012

The 6th Annual Theater Night at the Town Hall Arts Center will feature "Tommy," the musical created by The Who. Their album came out in 1969, but the musical was first produced in 1992.
After witnessing an accidental murder, Tommy is traumatized into catatonia. When his mother finally breaks through his catatonia, he shows himself to be an international pinball superstar. Based on The Who’s rock opera, TOMMY, this tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph is the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever to play in a theatre!
The TLC Meals on Wheels Theater Night starts at 6 p.m. with a fabulous array of food and drink donated by area restaurants, after which the sell-out crowd enjoys a lively evening in the Town Hall Arts Center's upstairs theater.
