TLC Meals on Wheels has over 200 volunteers from within Denver's South Metro community.

How to Start Volunteering
Contact us Monday through Friday 8:00am-12:00pm at 303-798-7642 for more information. We have an orientation meeting twice a month on Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m., but we can meet with you individually if needed.  Make a difference in your community and volunteer your time or make a donation.

Route Drivers – We need more drivers right now!  The "WHEELS" of our organization are the dedicated volunteer drivers who deliver the meals using their own vehicles. They provide not only food, but a visit from a friend. Route drivers deliver meals on a regular schedule, usually weekly. Opportunities for groups and organizations are available.

Substitute Drivers – Substitute drivers are on call to deliver meals when the route driver is unavailable.

Office Workers - We appreciate the help of workers who assist with the administration of our program by answering the telephone or making calls, entering data in spreadsheets, and assisting with similar tasks.

Kitchen Helpers - We selectively incorporate volunteers in support of our regular kitchen staff.  Our head cook must approve of the volunteer and will schedule days for work.

12 Days of Christmas – Imagine the 3300 wrapped presents we deliver to our clients on the twelve weekdays prior to Christmas.  Where do they come from?  Who donates them?  Who wraps them? Volunteers!  It may be your best way to reach out to our clients.
